Those who have restoration problems with their icons can contact the museum for help in getting their icons restored at a favorable price. Competent advice and information from experts, if you are considering the purchase of icons.
In case icon collectors or those who have inherited an icon collection want to sell them we would be glad to assist them, of course free of charge.
Expertisenerstellung Das Ikonenmuseum erstellt neutral Expertisen, welche Motiv, Provenienz, Alter, Erhaltungszustand, usw. angeben. Der Preis für eine Expertise einer einfachen Ikone beträgt 35.-- Euro + 7% MWSt, für eine Sammlerikone ( unabhängig wie hoch der Verkaufswert ist) 70.-- Euro + 7% MWSt. Die Expertisen werden auf Wunsch auch in Englisch erstellt.
Issuing of expertises The Icon Museum provides neutral expertises for icons which state the motif, origin, age and state of preservation. The price for an expertise for an ordinary icon is 35.--Euros + 7% purchase tax, for an icon which is a collector´s item the expertise costs 70.-- Euros plus purchase tax, regardless of what the value of the icon is.
